Innovative mask design project focuses on how the virus has changed a lot of our lives and how we live. A main aspect that I will focus on is the need to wear masks when outside. All masks issued are plain and simple with the only aim to protect. But what if a mask can also be creative and a way to express one’s self?

Designs inspired by a few pop artists such as Elton John, Lady Gaga and Katty Perry are the basis for my experimentations on achieving a final design. The project underscores the importance of safety but encourages individuals to use masks as a self expression.
